Exchange Server 2007 was planned not to be supported on the latest Windows Server versions (Windows Server 2008 R2). However, due to all the feedback and suggestions received, Microsoft changed their mind. Change of plans! Exchange Server 2007 will be supported on Windows Server 2008 R2. YES! Cool!

PowerShell v2 has finally been released for 'legacy' OSes (Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008)! Until Windows Server 2003 the maximum size of all event logs together should not exceed about 300MB. As of Windows Server 2008 that limit has been removed and that means you can use another configuration for your event log sizing on Windows Server.
