Vista RTM has been released without support for Bluetooth (BT) headset devices - at least this is what I know and my Motorola BT headset was not properly installed with Vista. This is a little odd as in some earlier beta and RC this option was available.
Yesterday one of my friends from our Microsoft sub informed me that update which allows ...

I wrote some time ago about problems with USB drivers (but not only USB) which are not recognized by Vista (or to be more specific drivers for these devices can't be found). As a quick solution I found out that in most cases pointing driver wizard to %systemroot%\system32 is enough to make it work.

In an earlier post I talked about some issues with UAC interfering with GP logon scripts in Vista, and I referenced an MS-TechNet article that describes how you can work around it by using a special script called "launchapp.wsf" that adds the logon script to a scheduled task rather than running it directly. Well, in that article, ...

New Knowledge Base article KB 930056 was published on 23 December, and it describes procedure which allows Windows Server admin pack tool to be installed and used on Windows Vista.
As this procedure was around for a while on lists and newsgroups it's nice to have it as a new and shiny KB article :).
