I’ll be speaking at Experts Live 2013

Reading Time: 2 minutes

On November 29th, several Dutch user groups, like Hyper-V.nu, System Center User Group, Windows Azure User Group, Dutch PowerShell User Group, PASS (SQL) and the Windows Management User Group join forces to present the Experts Live event.

As some of you might remember, I’ve been a speaker (and track owner) at the first Experts Live event, back in June 2010. This time around, Experts Live is bigger than ever before and features six tracks, catering to the needs of all the user groups. Of the 24 available session slots, I will feature in two.

About my sessions

During Experts Live 2013, I will be cohosting two sessions in track 1, together with Raymond Comvalius (Windows IT Pro MVP). Both sessions will run for 45 minutes between 1:05PM – 1:50PM and 1:55PM – 2:40PM and will be delivered in Dutch.

Our sessions are titled Robust access in the BYO era (with Microsoft technology) parts 1 and 2. They focus on the new Bring-Your-Own (BYO) and Identity capabilities found in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2. As part of the session, Raymond and I will convince our audience on the practical use cases of claims-based authentication, multi-factor authentication, the web application proxy, workplace join and work folders. We will show you how you would open up the network infrastructure to the outside world, but, at the same time, still remain in control…

André Kuipers in SpaceTrack 1 is located in the main room (the Hendrik Marsmanzaal) and can hold up to 550 persons. No wonder it is the room for the keynote and the ending session of the day by André Kuipers, the famous Dutchman who has flown two space missions and has been in space for over six months.

Since the day is divided into 4 sessions, next to Raymond and me, you’ll find Tony Krijnen with a Windows Server 2012 R2 overview session and Ruben Spruijt with his An Insider’s guide to Microsoft-only VDI with Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 session in track 1.

Definitely the track to watch! Winking smile
