Two years ago, my boss decided to outfit me with the tools I needed to give presentations and demo features in Windows and Windows Server. Back then, the tool of choice was a Dell Latitude E6500. The full specifications of the work horse I used the past two years can be found here.

Today, I received a new device to use as both my day-to-day laptop and demo station for the next two years:

Dell Precistion M4700 laptop

Dell Precision M4700

A brand new Dell Precision M4700 with the following specs:

  • Intel Core i7-3820QM processor (3rd Gen, 2.70GHz, 8MB cache, Quad Core)
  • 32 GB (4x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
  • Nvidia Quadro K1000M graphics card with 2GB GDDR3
  • 15.6" UltraSharp Full-HD (1920×1080) Anti-Glare LED-backlit Display Panel
