Expert at the TechNet Live Netherlands event

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The launch of Microsofts Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange Server 2010 is eminent all around the globe. In the Netherlands, our local Microsoft subsidiary planned this launch on October 8, 2009 at the World Forum in The Hague, the Netherlands.

About the event

NewEfficiencyThe event has been made part of the TechNet Live branding. Although it has room for 1700 people, it was sold out a week ago.
I guess seeing Steve Ballmer get passionate about ‘the new efficiency’, getting to hear lots of Microsoft Corp. Program Managers (PMs), having an opportunity to meet with loads of MVPs and leaving home with Windows 7 Ultimate, more than justifies the 99 euro (excluding VAT) price tag.

The event also features a Windows 7 loadfest. You bring your laptop and we’ll be rolling out Windows 7 onto it without hassle. You’ll see Windows 7 get installed on your rig of choice before you can finish “I’m a PC” a thousand times. 😉

Where to find me

I’ll be present at the TechNet Live event. I’ll be wearing an ‘Ask the Experts’ polo and accompanying lanyard.

During the day I’ll be present at the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 – Security Ask the Exports (AtE) booth. During the lunch I’ll be one of the engineers at the loadfest, where the loadfest team hopes to install Windows 7 onto dozens of rigs.

Also, during the day you can see me entertain my colleagues at the booth of my employer, who happens to be a gold sponsor of the event. If you’re not visiting their booth for me, at least visit the booth to be eligible to win a netbook…

I hope to see you Thursday!
