Paul's Holy Bible Of Everything

About projectmanagement, people and all those annoying aspects of life that get in the way of achieving anything.

About Paul's Holy Bible Of Everything

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paul van Geldrop, and I'm an IT projectleader from the Netherlands.

Having started out in IT in either '98 or '99 (I really can't remember), I've done a variety of projects, ranging from database design, application development to process management, leading projects and building new infrastructures from scratch, be it complete SBC environments, AD migrations, etc. As my employer has a lot of small to medium-sized clients, the environments I encounter are often complex (networks don't need to be big to be very complex, believe me..) and a lot of times I've been responsible for the working of all of it. Fun and challenging! I'm also a trainer at my company and involved in competency development of the Microsoft team at my company.

Throughout the years, I have tried to develop my knowledge as much as possible. While doing so, I've obtained the MCSE certificate (NT4/2000+Security/2003+Security, gaining the Early Achiever certificate on that last one, as I was surprised to find out when examining my welcome kits..), CCNA and CCSP certificates, ITIL Foundation, MSF Practitioner, Prince2 Foundation and IPMA-D.

Being obsessed with music, I like to compose, mix and produce my own music (and that of others), playing the guitar, piano, synthesizer and sing. Watching a good movie with a glass of nice red wine is also something I enjoy doing.
