Blocking DOS Attacks

Steve Riley posted, on July 10th, an interesting post about Blocking DOS Attacks at the router. These six simple rules are easy to add to your router to help deflect DOS Attacks. I have added this to the router at the start of my development network and subsequently tested if the rules work.

The only thing I have noticed is the increased processing load on my router. It wasn't much, but I don't have alot of traffic on that network. It's just something to keep in mind.
