Matt Johnson's Technical Adventures

One server at a time.
Fedora Directory Server 1.0
The Fedora project has a open source directory server that is on release 1.0. One intresting thing that I noticed from just viewing the screen shots is the reliance on the actual LDAP names instead of the nice friendly names some of us are used to. I am sort of intrested in trying to get Windows machines to play nice with it. Don't get me wrong, AD is still one of my greatest passions, but this could be intresting. I plan on installing this soon, and blogging on this shortly there after. Here are some links for your enjoyment.
