Microsoft has released the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Windows Vista. Remember, to be able to install RSAT on Windows Vista, Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista is required and must therefore already be installed!

The install only adds the RSAT tools to the Features List of the OS. After installing, you still need to enable it. You could compare it with the R2 distribution in Windows Server 2003. First you need to integrate it and then select the role or feature to install afterwards.
