Windows Server 2008 RC1 released to the public
Windows Server 2008 is available as a release candidate. At this moment the latest build available to the public is RC1 (v6001.17051.071121-2029). You can download it here for testing purposes. The x64 versions contain also Hyper-V (it does depend on the SKU you download). Microsoft now contains SKUs with and without Hyper-V.
Additional reading and information can be found by using one or more of the following links:
What are you waiting for? Go and get it! ;-)
NOTE: this information is based upon a beta release of Windows Server 2008 and thus subject to change in the final RTM release. Do not use Windows Server 2008 in a production environment without the explicit commitment from Microsoft for help and support.
Cheers,
Jorge
