Active Directory Forest Recovery
Four years ago Microsoft delivered a "Best Practices Guide" so that companies can use it as a template to create their own company specific Active Directory Forest Recovery Plans. This guide was based upon Windows 2000 Server, but it could also be used for Windows Server 2003 taking technology differences into account (e.g. application NCs, IFM, etc.)
That guide can be found here:
- Best Practices: Active Directory Forest Recovery (W2K)
Today Microsoft released an updated version of this "Best Practices Guide" for Windows Server 2003. The basics are the same, but it now contains additional information and ity takes Windows Server 2003 technology into account
That guide can be found here:
- Planning for Active Directory Forest Recovery (W2K3)

Jorge
