What is the maximum database size that the underlying Extensible Storage Engine Supports?

The ESE can support up to 16 Terabytes, the biggest I have seen 32gigs. I am sure someone can find a way to fill 16 Terabytes though ;)

Just to claryfi a little - ESE is a database engine which is utilized for example by Active Directory. However - maximum database size supported by ESE is not maximum database size supported by Active directory. Great discussion on this topic can be found in ActiveDir.org archives in this thread http://www.mail-archive.com/activedir@mail.activedir.org/msg41308.html.
